Louise: How can I have more faith? How can I have faith like Yogananda, because it seems like he never doubted or wavered? How can I be like that?
Malachor: There is a reason for breath. It is the invocation of life and it is the refreshment of aliveness – in the body, the being, in the whole energy field.
When you breathe you are expressing life. You are aligned with life. You are being life. Therefore, when you waver, when you feel your faith slipping, you simply need to remember that your breath is the immediate, tangible expression of your life and who you are.
And if you breathe with that certainty, with that awareness, with that sense of the power that comes from knowing that you are Spirit and that you are bringing the love of God through you, you have no choice but to be immersed in faith. Feel it now.
Breathe deeply.
There is undeniable power in that expression. There is, if you will, fire in that expression that can feel almost fierce at times. But it is simply certainty. It is simply faith being expressed as your breath.
It is necessary for you to remember your power at all times without doubt, without question, without apology. How could it be any other way? For you are Spirit. Therefore you are power. You are powerful. There is no need to even compare yourself to others. There is simply the need to be and express.
This is not even a matter of stepping up your energy or raising your vibration. It is merely a recognition, an acceptance, and a decision to honour that which already is. When you raise your vibration, you allow through more of what you are.
Can you feel that?
Can you return to that place?
Do you think that if you simply remember that, and can return to that place, you need to worry about whether you have as much faith as Yogananda?
No, not for a second, and that is what Yogananda himself would tell you.
So I will offer you the opportunity to ask questions, but in a sense, the only question is, “How can I most fully allow through the power that I am, right now?”
The breath is a great place to start. Sound is a vocalization of breath. Movement is breath in motion. Action is the extension of movement. Therefore the link from Spirit to every action you take is direct and complete.
You are power! You are being and you act as power, and then even though your mind will try to kick in, will try to re-anchor you in your old story, your old techniques of staying small, with faith and determination you choose to remain powerful. And you remind yourself that the old story and those old mind techniques are illusion, not truth.
Does that feel familiar?
Does it remind you of something?
Let us go into sound, on the exhale.
Breathe in, then on the exhale make a sound.
Let us allow even more fully through that sound, that expression.
Breathe in, then make a clear, powerful sound on the exhale.
That is what you should strive for. Settle for nothing less, that and beyond. For settling for anything less is settling for your old story.
Pure presence is the most powerful presence of all. When you come from that place there is no concern, no fear, no worry, no illusion, no lack of truth, no lack. There is only the presence of power. And I could, instead of the word power, say love.
So, when you find yourself drifting simply return, and return, and return again to your truth; one way you can do that is through your breath. And one way you can magnify that is through sound.
