Nantene: We would like to speak of contemplation and quiet and inner peace, for these qualities are nourishing to the human spirit, and nourishing to the connection between spirit and conscious awareness. These qualities replenish you, ground you, and align you.
Quiet contemplation. A little quiet time, when you are struggling, feeling frustrated; it is very beneficial. It allows you to feel spaciousness and find spaces between your thoughts and between your emotions.
Contemplation is perhaps a bit more directed than simple quiet; it is intentional quiet. Quiet perhaps with a focus, such as inner peace, insight, connection, spirit, family – whatever you choose to be the topic of your quiet contemplation becomes your area of discovery for the time you are sitting.
Often if you wish to receive guidance you do not even need to ask, you simply need to be quiet. Place the topic in your mind as you enter quiet, and then release it and see what arises in silence.
To maximize the benefit of quiet it is important to be well-hydrated, well-rested, well-fed, well-exercised; for these aspects make your human instrument as receptive as possible.
